11:00 am
I'm on the train to Gatwick airport. Missed the bus, or it never came. I dunno. I have been running through the streets with my backpack, trying to find the train station. Found it, but it's so slow. Plane leaving at 11:55. Don't think I'll make it.
4:19 pm
Made it, and so excited. I'm not even out of the airport yet and I know I am going to love this. I already wish that I had more time and feel like I will never want to leave. Weird right?
Oh, and I was greeted on the airplane with the correct pronunciation of my name...
P.S. thanks to the guys at the barber shop for directions to the airport.
4:37 pm
Raggedy old bus. Driver is pissed at me cause I gave him 10 euro for a 50 cent ride. He looks like Daniel, and drives like him too. There's a Jesus above the front window, and the driver is playing Elvis. It's hot. Love it.
All I see are white stone houses, prickly pear, Jesus statues, oooh, a Geelong sign, ha, pink and white flowers, a man walking with a horse down the street.
7:01 pm
Still haven't found the Hostel. Was a nice walk to begin with, but now realise the bloody Maltese had no idea where they were directing me, so I'm doubling back... No one's heard of the Hostel either... Maybe a hoax?
8:15 pm
It was where I began. No signs. Above a mexican restaurant.
8:47 pm
Goin to dinner with a Brazilian. We don't have a language in common.
11:49
Went back to one of the pubs that initially gave me directions. The locals seem nice.

"You must be Maltese, look at the size of your foot. Foot like a farmer."
Shots of Bjtra - traditional Maltese liquor of prickly pear. Yum.
