For the rest of my life I will be confused about human behaviour. Some things I just do not understand.
For instance, why don't people stand back from the baggage carousel? Why do people persist in getting as close to it as they can?
It's a freakin jungle in there. Screaming kids, bags everywhere, people leaning over the carousel to get a better look (?), and trolleys all over.
Now, why do you need the trolley right there with you? Seriously? You can't carry your bag 2 metres back to your trolley?
I can't see my bag coming with all those people in the way.
I can't get to the carousel to get my bag off it.
I can't get my bag off the carousel without hitting someone in the shin. The bag is heavy too, where do I drop it? On your foot? There is no space at all.
Every time I squeeze out, I accidentally hit someone with my heavy bag. No way I am apologising, I say "excuse me" instead.
How stupid are we as a race, that we cannot work this one out?
They should draw a yellow line around the area, about 1 metre back from the carousel, and people will stand behind it.
Now which part is more moronic. The fact that we cannot think this out for ourselves, the fact that people will stand behind a yellow line without any questions asked, or the fact that no-one has drawn that yellow line yet?
